POWER Yoga is a powerful, energetic form of yoga that pairs fitness and flow. However, what's unique about this particular class is that while it will absolutely build internal heat, increase stamina, strength & flexibility it's paired perfectly with a peaceful period of meditation & reiki to enhance mindfulness and extinguish stress! Appropriate for intermediate to advanced participants. Wednesday's @ 7am.
candlelight yoga & med.
Begin your week submerged in your practice. Enjoy the ambiance of a toasty warm room & flicking candles. As the practice of yoga takes hold, life begins to come into focus. The darkness dissipates & we see ourselves in a renewed light. We connect breath, body and spirit during this gentle vinyasa practice and end our time together with peaceful 10 minute of well deserved meditation. Appropriate for all fitness levels. Healing with sound is one of the oldest & most natural forms of healing known to man. Since the time of Buddha in 600BC all sacred Chinese gongs have been inscribed with ‘Tai Loi’ meaning ‘happiness has arrived’. When played the Gong produces the primordial and original sound ‘Om’, which is extremely powerful and healing to the human ear. Essentially it ‘is’ what ‘it does.' It induces a state of spontaneous meditation and relaxation that facilitates the movement of chi or prana (positive life force) throughout the body. The movement of which on a physical level, eliminates tension, stimulates the circulation and glandular systems, and regenerates the parasympathetic nervous system. This in turn leaves you feeling content, clear headed, energetic and optimistic. Gong baths are an excellent remedy for stress related issues, depression, fatigue, addictions, anger and hostility, feelings of fear, separation and loneliness along with many other conditions related to the lack of balance and harmony in the body.
